On-Board Services is Hiring Immediately for Production Machine Operator's/Fork Truck Operator's in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
Full-time Permanent position.
Rotating Swing Shift: Must be able to work 12 hour days and 12 hour nights. (Every month you get 7 days off in a row!)
Pay Range: $9.00-$10.00/hour
Benefits offered after 30 days of employment
Candidates cannot begin an assignment without successful drug & background screening clearances.
Summary:
The operator will operate all equipment associated with the process of producing a quality product. This may require working on many different tasks during a working shift. Communicating with area personnel and working together is essential to the proper product flow within the area.
Employee must acquire a thorough knowledge of the process and safety standards must be maintained to make an acceptable product.
The nature of the work is quite technical. Job requires a thorough knowledge of the process and must be able to handle multiple tasks effectively.
All employees are expected to work together and may be asked to participate in the training of fellow co-workers.
REQUIREMENTS:
The following is a list of routine type tasks that will be required (not all-inclusive):
o Using process computer systems and PC based systems, including DCS, to operate equipment and monitor product flow.
o Record data and entering job related information into computer systems.
o Contacting and communicating with other organizations.
o Operating and adjusting process equipment such as cutting, and spooling/rewind machines (various types).
o Moving product and materials with hoists, lifting assist devices, automated guided vehicles automated storage retrieval units, elevators and transporters.
o Make-up and utilize cutting machines for products for shipment.
o Run product samples and perform package quality audits, quality feedback, as well as compliance audits.
o Stock creels, and unwinds.
o Inspect and maintain product and package formation.
o Maintain adequate inventory of floc.
o Audit for compliance and control of procedures/records per ISO requirements.
o Monitor finished/semi finished product inventories for production flow and quality feedback.
o Monitor operating conditions to ensure on-aim control and follow-up on off standard results and alarms.
