Essential Job Functions Efficiently and accurately interviews patient and documents medical history.
Conducts and records various tests:
Central visual acuity Measure afferent pupillary defect Measures eye pressure with tonopen and pneumo Measures blood pressure Appropriate dilation Promptly and professionally assists the doctor in patient care.
Recognizes signs and symptoms of eye diseases.
Communicates with patients regarding follow-up care, procedures, changes in symptoms, etc.
Maintains and cleans all equipment being used, and reports to nurse/clinical supervisor if not in working condition.
Review medical record for labs or test results ordered at previous visit; obtain if not in NexTech Maintains patient confidentiality.
Monitors supplies in screening rooms regularly.
Education High School diploma or GED Additional Information Travel to satellite offices will be required when hired in the Charleston office Benefits to include:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
